This is a one-day seminar that is directed at all participants of Retriever Hunt Tests: Judges and Handlers. Judges and prospective judges can fulfill their requirement at this seminar.
For judges, a seminar once every 4 years fulfills the requirement for passing the AKC written test every 4 years. For prospective judges, attendance at a seminar is necessary prior to apprenticing and your first judging assignment.
Seminars are designed to provide judges with clarity and uniformity in their evaluations, as well as give all handlers a better understanding of the regulations and guidelines of AKC hunting tests.
