The objectives of the Club are the following:

  1. To promote the training of pure-bred dogs
  2. Disseminate knowledge regarding retriever field training
  3. Conduct classes for the training of dogs and their handlers
  4. Encourage the training of judges
  5. Hold and support field trials and hunting test under the rules and regulations of the American Kennel Club
  6. Promote cooperation and good sportsmanship among its members in the training and exhibition of dogs

All applicants for membership must agree to abide by the Constitution and By-Laws of the Club and the rules of the American Kennel Club. For new members, this application shall carry the endorsement of two members in good standing with the club. Your application will be filed and read at the first regular club meeting following receipt, at which time it shall be voted upon and require the affirmative votes of 2/3 of the members present in order to be elected to membership.
